Economy

The server economy is based around both virtual and physical currency.

Your balance, checked with the /bal command, is a virtual currency, however you can also convert this to and from Coins and Coin Stacks at the Bank (in SpawnWorld) which have values as follows:

1 Coin = $10, 1 Small Coin Stack = $50, 1 Large Coin Stack = $250, 1 Bullion* = $1000.

*Bullion cannot be bought or sold in the bank, these must be crafted and are mainly intended as a way of storing large amounts of money.

Simple crafting recipes are available in game for converting between coins and stacks etc.

Vending Blocks can be crafted to trade physical items directly and easily.

How To Get Coins / Money In Game

New players start with $500 and all players receive play time based rewards.

You can earn more money in game  by playing minigames, trading with other players and winning on the casino slots.

In addition you can find 'Diggyolite' ore in The Nether and The End which can be mined, smelted, and cast into coins or bullions! These worlds are reset every few weeks so that more of the ore regularly becomes available.

  3. After the player you referred has a total play time of 16 hours rewards are scheduled.
  4. Both you and the player you referred receive a reward of $2000!
Players can only use the command once but you can refer an unlimited number of players, remember to take care with the spelling of the referring players name!

Land Rentals & Sales

In the main world you can sell or rent protected areas to other players as follows:

Small or Large Homes - Rent or Sell.
Plots within Towns/Cities - Rent only.
Towns/Cities - Sell only.

The renting & selling of protected areas is done using signs, just place a sign on the protection stone as described below.

Renting

To rent out your protected area the sign should be formatted as follows:

1st Line: [RentArea] or [ShareArea] tag.

[RentArea] is used to temporarily rent the area to another player, the renter can build and use the area just like their own but cannot remove it or change some settings. The owner retains the ability to build but cannot change settings affecting the renter.
[ShareArea] allows multiple renters at the same time, useful to rent out access to a resource you have protected such as a lucrative mine, orchard or lava pool that you want to sell timed access to.

2nd Line: the price in money or items.

Money: An amount of money such as: 500
Items: An item and quantity such as: 4 (266)
(the item and quantity example above would be 4 of item 266, which is a gold ingot)

3rd Line: the time in minutes or days.

This is the time the price is for in either minutes (m), days (d), hours (h) or weeks (w).

Example Sign:

1st Line: [RentArea]
2nd Line: 100
3rd Line: 1d

A sign formatted like this would make the area rentable for $100 per day.

To collect your rent payments simply right-click the rental sign at any time during the rental period, this will show the name of the renter after rent has been collected.

The remaining rental time is shown on the sign and players will receive a notification when their rental period expires.

Selling

To sell your protected area the sign should be formatted as follows:

1st Line: [BuyArea] tag.

2nd Line: the price in money or items.
(see above for details)

Example Sign:

1st Line: [BuyArea]
2nd Line: 2 (57)

This would put the area up for sale for a price of 2 diamond blocks.

Once sold the new owner will have build rights instantly, the previous owner is fully removed from the region once they collect the payment by right-clicking the sign, this will also cause the sign to break.
